What is the program’s goal and promise?
- To create more sales for your dealership and the same time doing something good for the environment.
- Our “CO2-Compensation” program takes full advantage of today’s political "climate” and guarantees to reach this goal with little to no effort and a very small investment.
What are you getting for 20 Dollars you pay us for each car you sell?
- An estimated increase in sales of no less than 0.8%.
- The assurance that your investment is used to make all the cars you sell CO2-Neutral, and
- a "CO2-Neutral Car" package for each car you sell that includes the following:
- Two "CO2-Neutral Car" decals (one for inside the car and one for outside),
- A pamphlet with space for your dealership logo/stamp (you are the sponsor after all), a short explanation what a "CO2-Neutral Car" is, (EPA) information about CO2 emissions, and a few tips how to drive more economically.
How does the "CO2-Neutral Car" program work?
The following example illustrates our potential cooperation. To make it simple, we are assuming you decided in December 2018 to only sell CO2-neutral cars in 2019 (estimated sales: 2,000 cars, 500 each quarter)
- You contact us in December 2018, reporting estimated sales of 500 cars for the 1st quarter 2019 (probably based on your 2018 1st quarter sales).
- We mail you in December 2018 500 "CO2-Neutral Car" packages (two 2019 decals with pamphlet) with an invoice totaling $10,000.00 (500 x $20.00); payments terms: 45 days.
- Each time you deliver/sell a car, you place one "CO2-Neutral Car" decal at the upper left corner of the car’s windshield (like your service department does after performing a service on a vehicle) and add the "CO2-Neutral Car" package (pamphlet with one remaining decal) to your usual sales documents (contract, keys, etc.). You do not charge for this service - it is free for your customer.
- The 2nd quarter works the same way: you report to us your estimated sales 10 days before the 2nd quarter begins. This will give us enough time to send you the packages.
- 3rd and 4th quarter: as usual you are reporting us your estimated sales for the coming quarter. This time we will send you 500 "CO2-Neutral Car" packages, but not just with a 2019 decal, but also with a 2020 decal free of charge.
- Why 2019 and 2020 decals for the year's last 2 quarters? Because you don't want to deliver a car that is only CO2 neutral for a few months. This is an additional way of showing customer appreciation (and also good for marketing reasons).
- A shortage or surplus of "CO2-Neutral Car" decals can be balanced out without a problem at any time.
- There is a minimum one year contract between your dealership and us. Like with any other marketing-program, it takes some time to to measure its success (or failure).
- The program does not need to begin at a quarter, it can begin at any 1st day of any months (just talk to us).
- Money back guarantee: If for any reason, your accounting demonstrates the program was not a success, we will reimburse you 25% of the funds you paid us; in this scenario: $10,000.00.
What are you going to do if a customer comes back with an expired "CO2-Neutral Car" decal?
- If a customer returns to your dealership with an expired decal and would like to continue to drive CO2 neutral, it is up to you to either sell it or hand it over for free. Suggested retail price is $50.00 (you will always pay $20.00).
- Obviously, the "CO2-Neutral Car" program is voluntary; there is no law that would require anyone to purchase such a decal.
Recap of above scenario and break-even point
- You contributed a total of $40,000.00 to the new "CO2-Neutral Car" program. We invested these funds in Gold Standard renewable energy projects and made this way all the cars you sold during 2019 CO2 neutral.
- Your participation in our program compensated 92,000 tonnes of CO2!
- Assuming your profit per vehicle is $2,500, your break-even point is reached by selling just 16 more cars, that is 0.8%!
