The CO2 compensation/reduction business was an unregulated industry until a few years ago; fraudulent activity was not uncommon. Now with the new defined “Gold Standard Projects” administered and overseen by The Gold Standard Foundation headquartered in Geneva, Switzerland, the necessary safeguards, requirements and methodologies to measure and certify the impact of these CO2 reducing projects are in place.

Nevertheless, there is still a possibility for a company like ours to collect funds from our clients and never invest them in CO2 reducing projects. For that reason, we hired an independent, reputable accounting firm to verify our books and activities. Our customers receive a semi-annual report (audit) directly from this firm.
